Etika Konfrontasi dalam Matius 18:15 sebagai Model Penanganan Konflik Interpersonal

Abstract
Interpersonal conflict is an unavoidable reality of life and may develop into relational rupture when addressed through avoidance or destructive confrontation. This study analyzes the ethical structure of Matthew 18:15 and constructs it as a model for managing interpersonal conflict. Using a qualitative approach, the study employs library research and analysis of Matthew 18:15, complemented by engagement with literature on conflict, reconciliation, and restorative practices. The findings show that the internal movement of Matthew 18:15 proceeds from recognizing wrongdoing to direct initiative, honest correction, private communication, willingness to listen, and relational restoration. Based on these findings, this study proposes restorative confrontation ethics consisting of five elements, namely a clear basis, direct initiative, honest correction, privacy that respects dignity, and restorative orientation. This model rejects both passive avoidance and destructive confrontation by integrating truth, responsibility, dignity, dialogue, and restoration within an ethical framework for addressing interpersonal conflict in Christian communities.
